It’s rare for character artistes to carry a film’s success on their shoulders along with the lead pair but Rao Ramesh never fails to amaze the audience with his stunning performances, no matter the role.
Majili released on Friday and apart from the wonderful openings that it has received, Rao Ramesh’s performance in the film was appreciated by one and all. His role, in fact, happens to be one of the highlights of the movie. “I’d like to thank the director Shiva Nirvana for having faith in me from the very beginning. My role in this film is very different from the roles that I’ve played in the past,” said the artiste.
“When the director narrated the script to me, I knew right then that this film was going to be a hit. Shining light on the realities of middle-class families is Shiva’s forte, and he has done a commendable job with the way he’s written my role,” said Ramesh, adding, “This is Ugadi unraveling itself in its truest sense, and I am very happy right now. Had my mother been alive today, she would have been extremely happy about all the appreciation that is being bestowed upon me. Although she is not with us today, she will forever be responsible for my success.” The actor’s mother passed away on April 7, last year.
The actor is busy with over half-a-dozen films at the moment and is charged to continue to deliver moving performances for his audience....
