Akash Puri, son of popular director Puri Jagannath, is gearing up for his next film. Anil Paduri is making his debut as director with this film and the shooting may start in couple of weeks.
Anil has been working with Puri Jagan from the last few years and recently got this offer to direct Puri Jagan’s son. “Puri Jagan wrote a story and this time he gave the responsibility to his assistant Anil Paduri. The script is ready.
Akash also did a photoshoot in different looks for the project,” says a source from the unit. Meanwhile, Puri Jagan is busy with his other project that stars Ram Pothineni, but he will definitely supervise his son’s film too. “Akash’s debut film ‘Mehbooba’ was a disappointed at the box-office, but he proved his mettle as actor, so Puri Jagan is confident about this second film,” added the source.
