Sree Vishnu mulls remake of Pakistani film?

Sree Vishnu is banking on his flair for comedy to ward off tough competition in Tollywood

Move over Tamil and Malayalam movies, since popular Telugu actor Sree Vishnu, who is known for his impeccable flair for comedy, is reportedly planning to do a remake of Pakistani film in the next few months. “Already, he has watched the Pakistani film since it was a massive hit in that country and agreed to do the film in principle," says a source and adds, “It is perfect romantic comedy and Sree Vishnu adores the genre and he would be working with a young director and producer for this wholesome entertainer,” he adds.

Actually, Sree Vishnu bounced back into the reckoning with ‘Samajavaragamana’ after a slew of duds. “No doubt, he went through some tough times since his films like ‘Alluri’ and ‘Bhala Thandanana’ bombed at the box office before sleeper hit ‘Samaja…’ put his career back on tracks,” he points out.

Right now, he seems to have resolved to do more comic-capers than trying his hand in varied genres and burn his hands. “His relatively smaller but light-hearted entertainers like ‘Raja Raja Chora’ and ‘Brochevarevarura’ sustained his market. He has to bank on his comic timing to ward off the competition and stay ahead in the race in Tollywood,” he concludes.
