The Learning curve is more in a failure: Mehreen Kaur
Actress Mehreen Kaur is all excited about her Sankranti release, F2 Fun and Frustration. Talking about her role in the comic caper, she says, “I play a college-goer, Honey, and it’s a comic role. There’s a lot of innocence to her, and she has a boyfriend (played by Varun Tej). An incident transpires in the second half, so the character has two shades.”
Mehreen underwent workshop training (along with her co-stars) on her diction, dialogues, styling and comic timing. “On the set too, I observed Venkatesh garu closely and he encouraged me a lot too.”
Speaking about Tamannaah, the actress reveals, “She plays my elder sister Harika, (Venkatesh’s wife). I share several scenes with her. There’s so much to learn from her from expressions in scenes to dance. We had a great time bonding on the sets. Both of us have common interests like indulging in food, travel, etc.” For someone who has made her South debut in 2016, working in 10 films is a big number. “But I feel I should have done more work,” she replies, adding, “It has been a fruitful journey so far, but I want to achieve more.”
The Raja The Great actress states that the learning curve is more in a failure.
“Successes and failures are part of life. I believe failure teaches me more than success and these two are end results. But what’s important is the process of learning and moving on,” she signs off.
