Samantha’s new film has been titled Yashoda. And the film will be directed by two filmmakers — Hari and Harish. “We started shooting for the film from Monday and welcomed Samantha to the sets; she’s brimming with confidence and is all excited to pay the role of Yashoda,” says the film’s producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad.
According to the producer, Yashoda is a thriller that has a new-age plot. And Samantha had apparently said yes to the film in 45 minutes. “She’s attained pan-India attention with The Family Man 2, so we conceived a thriller that caters to a wide section of the audience in accordance with her current image,” adds Sivalenka Krishna Prasad. Yashoda is set to have multiple releases.
