I am happy about my career and life: Anisha Ambrose

Actress Anisha Ambrose talks about her upcoming film with Manchu Manoj, and says that both her life and career are going great guns.

Anisha Ambrose is playing a journalist in her upcoming film Okkadu Migiladu that stars Manchu Manoj. Talking about the film’s subject and her character, Anisha says, “It’s not a love story or a song-dance kind of role. I am playing a journo who is trying to figure out the truth. The film runs in two time frames — one in 1997 and the other in the present.” She adds that the story’s backdrop is based on the LTTE and its leader Prabhakaran.

“The director did research on the LTTE and the inside stories. The film is in-depth and connects the present to that point of time. There are no songs or a separate love track,” she reveals, adding, “I was inspired by the script and I did the film. I can get several regular commercial films, but this kind of subject is rare, so I accepted it.” Anisha is all praise for lead actor Manchu Manoj. “His transformation in this film is mind-blowing and he has worked really hard. He was a big inspiration for me,” says the actress.

I am not disappointed by anything and neither am I upset. I am very happy doing movies and also happy about my life,” she says. The actress recently did a cameo in Vunnadi Okate Zindagi. “I did the role for producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. I know him and when he told me that there is a small role, I obliged him,” she says.
