Actors Anushka and Nagarjuna will play austere devotees of Lord Venkateswara in K. Raghavendra Rao’s upcoming film, Om Namo Venkatesaya. Pragya Jaiswal plays an interesting role of the woman in Baba Hathiram’s life, before he embarks on his devotional journey.

“As this is the biopic of Baba Hathiram, Raghavendra Rao wants to ensure that he covers all facets of his life. Not a lot of information is available about him, but he has done a great deal of research. Pragya’s old world charm and ability to perform were the key clinchers for her to bag the role,” reveals a source.
Om Namo Venkatesaya, produced by A. Mahesh Reddy, is set to release in the first quarter of 2017.
