Hansika Motwani, not a regular in Telugu films, is in high demand in Tamil industry. Having last acted in a Telugu film, a couple of years back, she will now be pairing opposite Manchu Vishnu in a film titled Luckunnodu, directed by Raj Kiran. Both Vishnu and Hansika have worked together in two films earlier — the hit film Denikaina Ready and Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda.
The actress has charged Rs 1 crore as remuneration, says a source. This is a huge amount for an actress, considering she has not been seen in Telugu films in recent times.
However, the makers have agreed to pay her the amount as they couldn’t find someone suitable, here in Tollywood, for the role. M.V.V. Satyanarayana of Geethanjali fame will produce this film. The first look of the movie (below) was released on Saturday.
