Will Chiranjeevi’s Lucifer be Godfather?
Around three years ago, filmmaker Sampath Nandi registered the title Godfather for a film he was planning. But just as he was preparing to write the script, R.B. Choudhary and N.V. Prasad, the makers of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, approached him, asking for the title.
They felt Godfather would be the ideal name for the Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer. And Sampath Nandi was quick to obliged.
The director shares cordial relations with R.B. Chowdhary as he had made Rachcha for them earlier. The action-drama stars Chiru’s son Ram Charan, and hence the filmmaker has a great relationship with the Chiranjeevi family too. Sampath meanwhile is fast the wrapping up the shooting of his film, Seetimaarr.
Meanwhile, Although it has been widely reported that Keerthy Suresh will play sister to Chiranjeevi in his next film, a remake of the Tamil film Vedalam, there was no confirmation. However, we have now learnt that the National award-winning actress has allocated dates around November for the Meher Ramesh directorial. Apparently Keerthy shall wrap the shooting of her part in Sarkaaru Vaari Paata and then move on to Chiru’s film.
