Mahesh Babu has started shooting for his next film, Sarileru Neekavvaru, and some of the scenes are shot in Jammu and Kashmir. After the phenomenal success of Maharshi, the actor had taken a much-needed break with his family before getting back to work. Sarileru Neekavvaru, which is directed by Anil Ravipudi of the F2 fame, is a typical commercial entertainer, with Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead.
“The film’s protagonist comes from a military background, so the director wants to shoot some important scenes on Mahesh Babu in Jammu and Kashmir,” informs a unit source. After a few days there, the unit will be back in Hyderabad for a major schedule, involving many other actors. Incidentally, this is also a comeback film for Vijayashanthi who had taken a long break from cinema. We’re told she plays an important role in the movie.
