As we have known, many top actors campaigned rigorously for Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in the recently concluded elections. And now that their favourite candidate has earned himself the seat of the Chief Minister of the state, these actors are hoping to land a position, any position, in service of the party.
Mohan Babu happens to be one such actor, and against this backdrop, several reports have claimed that the actor will be nominated as the chairman of the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD).
Mohan Babu happens to be a family friend of Mr Reddy. And besides, he did work really hard in the recent elections.
As a result, Mr Reddy is said to be keen to appoint him to take over the aforestated position.
With this speculation doing the rounds in the media circle, the actor recently released a rather vague statement on Twitter which neither confirms nor denies the reports.
“Several reports claim that I'm in the race for the post of the TTD chairman, so I must clarify that my sole ambition was to see Shri Jagan as the Chief Minister of the state, so I did my bit to make it happen. It was my belief in @ysjagan that brought me back to politics and not the desire to land a post (sic),” he said.
