This week’s two Telugu releases have been duds, but Vishal’s Abhimanyudu, which has been dubbed in Telugu, is doing well at the box-office.
The film, which is already a hit in Tamil, is making good money in Telugu as well. It depicts the problems faced by the common man in digital India.
G. Hari, the producer of the Telugu version, says that he is happy to be a part of the best film in Vishal’s career.
“I have a good rapport with Vishal; I have distributed most of his films in Telugu. I was a part of this project right from the pre-production stage. I knew that the subject was new, and I was confident of its success. The film is going strong, and we are adding more theatres and shows,” Hari says.
