The super success of his debut film, Kshanam in 2016 landed filmmaker Ravikanth Perepu his current project, which is being bankrolled by Rana Daggubati. But Ravikanth has also been a favourite of other Tollywood stars like Allu Arjun, who had heaped praises for the thriller on Twitter.
And two years later, the director has received a call from the same camp. Sources say that Ravikanth recently met Allu Arjun’s team to discuss teaming up for a project.
A source close to the actor reveals, “The rendezvous ended on a pleasant note with both the parties expressing their happiness over a possible collaboration.”
In the meanwhile, Ravikanth has also signed another film with producer Niranjan Reddy and its pre-production has already begun. In all likeliness, the film with Allu Arjun will take better shape after he wraps up Niranjan’s film.
