A self-confessed “hardcore Pawan Kalyan fan”, Nithiin had tweeted appreciating the Katamarayudu teaser, but it had a totally unexpected consequence. Nithiin had tweeted: “Raayudu lu entho mandhi untaaru kaani Kaatamarayudu Okkade Untaadu #pichamass (sic),” but it did not go down well with many fans. Finally, he had to delete the tweet and apologise for hurting “the feelings”.
Apparently, Rayudu was taken as a reference to actor Mohan Babu, which irked his fans. “I did not want 2 hurt any 1 in the industry or out..I m extremely sorry if i hurt the feelings of fans n followers of other great artists. (sic),” wrote Nithiin. Lakshmi Manchu promptly replied, “@actor_nithiin apology accepted Tintin. Pls don’t do it again (sic).” Thankfully, that story did end well. However, for reasons unknown, Lakshmi deleted the tweet after a while.
