Hyderabad: With Adivi Sesh in the lead role, Sailesh Kolanu picturized HIT-2 as a crime and mystery thriller. The film was released as a franchisee of HIT. Released on December 2, the film became a success at the box office.

Coming to the story, Krishna Dev aka KD (Adivi Sesh) is a young IPS officer. He joins duty as the SP of Vizag district and says cracking mysteries was not a big task. KD falls in love with Arya (Meenakshi Chowdary) and begins a live-in relationship with her.
The story's pace changes when a woman gets murdered brutally at a pub in Vizag. While investigating the case, KD comes across a startling fact behind the dismembered corpse. He learns that the limbs, torso and head belong to four different girls.
KD tries to catch the killer who leaves nothing except the mark of his tooth on the corpse. His attempts to unravel the mystery behind why the killer was targeting only girls make the racy thriller. The challenges thrown by the killer to KD who speaks light of criminals keeps the audience on the edge of their seat.
