We have learnt from sources that producer B.V.S.N. Prasad gave a token advance of Rs 25 lakh to director Parasuram (of Geetha Govindam fame) to make a film under his production way back in 2008.
However, Parasuram hasn’t collaborated with Prasad for a film since. We’ve heard that the director, who has been repeatedly procrastinating on the project, is apparently now dodging the producer, too.
What’s more, Parasuram reportedly recently approached the producer again for another advance of Rs 10 lakh.
Naturally, the producer is now miffed with the director and his unprofessionalism, and he now plans to approach the Producers’ Council to resolve the issue.
“Producer B.V.S.N. Prasad is known for his soft and affable nature; however, looks like he has run out of patience and has decided to approach Producers’ Council to seek justice over this long-pending issue,” says a source with knowledge on the matter.
When contacted over the matter, however, Parasuram vehemently denied the allegations, saying that the reports are baseless. “Absolutely not true! All these are fake reports. I haven’t received any notice from anyone,” clarifies the director who is set to direct Naga Chaitanya next.
