Naga Chaitanya seems to have upped the ante by signing more films. While the actor currently has two films lined up — an untitled film under director Shiva Nirvana, and Venky Mama, under director Bobby, Chay has green lit another project. The new film will be directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and will be bankrolled by U.V. Creations.
Interestingly, Chay is back to his favorite genre, romantic comedy. Apparently, the new film will be a romantic entertainer with humor that will majorly drive the narrative.
“After his last release, Krishnarjuna Yudham, director Merlapaka Gandhi has been working on a romantic comedy script that suits a young hero. And when he narrated to Chay, the actor felt his character design was unique and has flagged it off,” informs a source.
The director is currently fine tuning the script while the pre-production work of the film is in full swing.
