Nara Rohit, who hails from Chittoor district of Rayalaseema region, will be shooting for his upcoming film Balakrishnudu against his native backdrop. Interestingly, Regina Cassandra, who plays the female lead, is being paired opposite Rohit for the third time and Ramya Krishnan will also be seen playing a major role in the film.
“She is playing Regina’s aunt in the film and the role is very powerful,” says Pavan Mallela, the director of the film. “The film has a Rayalaseema backdrop and is a commercial entertainer. The main story revolves around Nara Rohit, Regina and Ramya Krishnan,” he added.
Revealing that the project is currently in its post-production phase, Pavan says, “I can’t reveal more about the story, but I promise you that the film will entertain everyone.”
