A junior artiste, Sunitha Boya locked herself in at the Telugu Film Chamber office premises to protest against producer Bunny Vasu and production house Geetha Arts (owned by top producer Allu Aravind) for cheating her.
Alleging that Vasu had assured her of film roles and then went back on his word, Sunitha locked her hand to the Chamber office with a chain as a mark of protest against the producer before the Banjara Hills police took her to the police station for counselling.
Interestingly, Sunitha has professed on Facebook that she is a big supporter of Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena party. “Don’t drag Pawan Kalyan garu or his political party into this issue. I am not doing this for publicity or anything else and I am not suffering from any psychological depression either,” she stated in another video clip from the police station. Meanwhile, Bunny Vasu who is presently abroad, scouting locations for his upcoming film that stars Akhil Akkineni, hasn’t responded. “Bunny Vasu actually wants to help her by taking her to some counselling centre or rehab,” says a source, who adds that before the high drama at the Chamber office unfolded, Sunitha left her father at the Geetha Arts office.
“The staff gave him `2,000 and booked a ticket for him back to his native place,” reveals the source.
