Sayyeshaa Saigal, who made her Telugu debut opposite Akhil Akkineni in Akhil, impressed Chiranjeevi with the iconic veena step from Indra. At the recently held SIIMA in Singapore, the actress had performed live as a tribute to superstars Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh, during which she did the step, much to the surprise of Chiranjeevi, who was seated in the front row. And Sayyeshaa is all excited about the outcome.
“It was the most memorable night of my life. I’ve grown up watching films of the four superstars. It was the best moment of my life when I performed before Chiranjeevi sir on his own steps. I was thrilled with the response,” says Sayyeshaa.
Interestingly, this was the first stage performance of the actress, whose debut movie had no space to showcase her skills. A trained dancer from London since the age of 10, Sayyeshaa had learned the Latin-American style of dancing from Rio de Janiero and South Africa. Over the years, she has also learnt Odissi, Kathak, belly dancing and hip hop.
