Adipurush makers panned

As the release of Prabhas-starrer Adipurush is nearing, the hype surrounding the fantasy drama is getting bigger.

However there’s also a down side to it. Since the film is releasing in multiple languages, the filmmakers are finding it challenging to get a hang of the local language. Especially pushing the film’s promotional content.

Despite several appeals, these concerns seem to be overlooked. Fans have noticed that in most of the promotional tweets, be it lyrics or captions, the lines are misspelled. And filmy folks blame Bollywood promotion designers who don’t have any understanding of Telugu.

A couple of days ago, the film’s director Om Raut released the film’s theme line in multiple languages. It has to appear as “Shaktivantulam . . .Bhaktivantulam” in Telugu.

However, it was wrongly spelt (in Telugu) as “Sakethvanthulam Bhakethvantulam.” Netizens were quick to point out the error in the words and started trolling Om Raut, ridiculing him for the ‘little’ attention Telugu language is being given. While some netizens advised the makers to hire a translator and get the lines correct, some went on to say that in the mask of Pan-India release the makers are tarnishing Telugu. They also warned that such negligence could severely dent the film.

@aarudrah: You don’t know ramayan, we get it but atleast hire a Telugu person who can correct you atleast... The Telugu line doesn’t make any sense.

@srikanthinks: In every language you wrote it correctly except Telugu. And you are directing a hero from TFI. So sad to say you people never change. This is why we hate you Raut (sic)

@santhoo9: Dear @omraut, This is Gibberish, not Telugu (sic)

@Krrish46459800: Even though I’m more comfortable in Telugu I will watch this movie in Hindi...Cos looking at that Telugu now I understand as a director what kind of care you’ve taken for Telugu dubbing... Our darling as usual drinking and sleeping it seems... (sic)

@dnabhi9676: Without knowing Telugu, you are releasing it in Telugu (sic)
