Actor Nikhil Siddhartha’s car has been fined for violating lockdown rules. Kukatpally traffic cops raised a challan against the actor after his car was found to fall under the ‘disobedience of orders’. The incident took place in the late afternoon on Wednesday.
Apparently, Nikhil’s car came under the radar when cops found it to be moving around in Kukatpally during the lockdown hours, from 2:00 pm to 6 am. Upon being stopped by the cops, the vehicle’s driver is believed to have told them that the car belonged to Nikhil although the actor wasn’t in the car then.
Bose Kiran, Kukatpally Traffic Inspector, says two cases have been booked against the car. “One is against the movement of the vehicle on the road without any pass or valid reason during the lockdown, and the other that the car’s number plate is against the norms,” says Kiran, adding that the number plate too was in the vehicle.
