Actor Vijay Antony loves to experiment with genres, be it a thriller, horror, suspense or action film. And his forthcoming film, Killer, is a step in that direction.
“Killer is a gripping thriller that’ll keep the audience on the edge of their seats. The racy screenplay is what got me hooked,” explains Antony, who adds that he is playing the titular role while actor Arjun Sarja will be seen as a cop. “I play a killer with a purpose. I stalk a girl and how the plot unfolds as a result is interestingly portrayed by the director Andrew Louis.
Incidentally, Andrew was my classmate in college and since both of us know each other well, we could stay on the same page on the creative aspects,” explains the actor.
Over a decade in the industry now, Vijay ascribes his success to his hard work and consistency. “When I came into the industry, I never thought that I could survive for so long. But I have learnt from my mistakes and ensured that I choose scripts that suit my personality,” he concludes.
