Guess what’s keeping Shraddha Das buoyant these days? It’s the opportunities she’s getting in short films!
Talking about her upcoming short film Pure Soul, her third, she says, “I play a girl who remains true to herself regardless of what society thinks of her. It’s a social drama which talks about the beauty of a woman from an artistic perspective. It is about a painter, and I am his 100th muse. The film is being made in English to cater to a global audience.”
The actress is excited by the avenues that have opened up for her in short films.
“I’m getting interesting scripts and roles. Since there’s no censorship involved, I can get down to the core of my roles. There’s a lot I can explore, and that pushes me as an actor. Moreover, since short films are wrapped up in two or three days, it’s fun and exciting,” she says.
