Prime Minister Narendra Modi often tweets in local languages for local festivals. Just recently he greeted people in Telugu for Ugadi, the Telugu New Year.

Now, the Prime Minister has once again tweeted in Telugu this time in appreciation of Telugu actors Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Varun Tej and Sai Tej for their song to create awareness about the coronavirus.

Modi said, “I should thank Chiranjeevi garu, Nagarjuna garu, Varun Tej garu and Sai Tej garu for your beautiful message. We all stay at home and also maintain social distancing, and we will win against the coronavirus.”

In response, Chiranjeevi said “Thank you Shri Narendra Modi Ji for your kind words. Heartily appreciate your tireless efforts to contain the damage from the corona crisis to our country. We are doing our little bit to partake in this humongous task.”

Chiranjeevi also thanked music director Koti for coming up with the song.
