Karan Johar inks deal with Vijay Deverakonda?
There are reports that top Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar is taking charge of Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda. According to a source, Karan Johar has struck a deal with Vijay. “Karan has agreed to pay Rs 100 crore to Vijay per year and Vijay has to sign films sanctioned by Karan under the deal.”
Vijay is already doing a pan-Indian film with director Puri Jagannadh and the actor had said in an interview that it would mark his debut in Bollywood. “Karan is planning to make more pan-Indian films or direct Bollywood films with Vijay, and he has promised to make the actor a national star,” added the source.
The actor had said in earlier interviews that his career and life were going to change this year. Though he didn’t reveal details, source said he was referring to the deal with Karan. “Whether he does a film or not, Karan has agreed to pay the money to Vijay,” the source added.
