After the super success of his multi-starrer film F2, actor Venkatesh is starting his next film Venky Mama, another multi-starrer. His nephew Naga Chaitanya is also playing a lead role in this film directed by Bobby (K.S. Ravindra). The film’s shooting will start from February 22 onwards in Rajahmundry. “Some parts of the story requires a village backdrop, so the team is planning to shoot in Rajahmundry and near by places,” says a source.
Suresh Babu is producing the film, with Rakul Preet Singh and Shriya Saran as the two female leads. The film was supposed to start in December, but it didn’t. Rumour is that Rakul was not able to give dates, but the unit dismissed it. “Rakul and Shriya are confirmed as the female leads and they are very much part of the film,” said the production team.
