For sometime now, it has been the buzz that actress Catherine Tresa would reprise her role in the Telugu remake of her Tamil film Kanithan. Turns out that isn’t the case! In fact, with so many rumours surrounding the remake, the actress is quite confused herself.
“Catherine wasn’t even approached for the role! The film remains one of her favourites but she is quite surprised by how people are assuming things without any development taking place as such,” shares a source close to her.
Interestingly, the original film doesn’t have an elaborate role for the female lead and it is apparently being re-written for the Telugu version to give the female lead more screen time. However, it is to be seen if Catherine comes anywhere in the picture for the remake.
