The buzz surrounding director Vamsi Krishna Akella’s next film has just gotten bigger. Ever since the filmmaker evinced interest to make a film on the notorious thief from the ’70s, Tiger Nageswara Rao, there’s been a constant buzz in tinsel town.
While the filmmaker has been on the lookout for a suitable protagonist, it is learnt that Rana Daggubati is in talks for the role. Apparently, Vamsi Krishna felt that Rana would be a perfect match. Although the filmmaker is considering a couple of other options, talks have been initiated with the actor and things are pretty positive so far.
The film will showcase the humane side of Nageswara Rao. Interestingly, the director’s earlier two films — Dongaata and Kittu Unnadu Jagratha also belong to the same genre — crime comedy.
