Rana Daggubati has had quite a busy year working on multiple projects, but the audiences missed him as he had no releases in 2016. Most of his films — starting with Ghazi in February — are set to release this year.
His film with director Teja, Nene Raju Nene Mantri, a political drama, is also slated for a 2017 release, starring Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. A still from the film shared by Rana himself from the shoot location is generating quite a lot of interest. “Day 1 of shoot in 2017 started yesterday in Ananthapur!! Thank you for the love!! (sic),” posted the actor. He is seen in a politician's avatar and is being flanked by what seems like a group of supporters.
Interestingly, Rana had debuted with Leader, which had shown him as a politician. Everyone is curious to see how things pan out as the actor does an encore.
