Vangaveeti family threatens RGV
Ram Gopal Varma can’t seem to stay away from controversies and this time there is yet another controversy surrounding his film Vangaveeti.
Just a few days back the director was slapped with a legal dispute, after objections were raised for a song from his film which had words like kaapu and kamma.
But now, the latest word on the film is that RGV got into a heated argument with the Vangaveeti family. “The film’s audio function was held in Vijayawada and RGV was there, it was then that he met Vangaveeti Radha and his mother. RGV even showed a few trailers of the film to the duo, but it seems like they were not happy with it. They apparently told Varma that it degrades their community, and asked him to change or remove certain scenes, and RGV didn’t agree to that. This disagreement led to a heated argument between the director and the Vangaveeti family and they even threatened him,” says a source from the film unit.
Dasari Kiran Kumar the producer and MLA Kodali Nani were also present at the meeting. RGV apparently told them that he was never scared of anyone and that even the Mumbai Underworld had threatened him several times. Varma posted this incident on his Twitter account.
