Versatile actor Tanikella Bharani has a very important role in the upcoming film Naruda Donaruda in which he co-stars with Sumanth. “This is my second innings,” says the actor. “Although I didn’t take any break from acting, the role in this film is going to be memorable,” he says.
Bharani plays Dr Anjaneyulu, the award-winning role of Annu Kapoor from the original Vicky Donor. Describing his role, he says, “It’s a lengthy role on par with lead actor Sumanth. The film’s subject is very sensitive, but the director has conveyed it in an entertaining manner.”
The actor is confident that this role will take his career to another level. Talking about how he bagged the project, he recalls, “When Sumanth called me and told me that I was the hero of the film, I took it lightly. When he gave me a DVD of the film to watch, it was then that I realized the character is big and I have a responsible role to play.”
