Popular Telangana-based singer Mangli crooned Telugu chartbusters like ‘Jam Jam Jajjanaka(Bholaa Shankar), Jinthaak Chithaka(Dhamaka) and ‘Ooru Palleturu’ (Balagam) and Kannada song ‘Oo Anthiya Oo Oo Anthiya’. She seems to be annoyed with her marriage rumours which have been making rounds on social media. “Am I getting married,’ she asked and added satirically, “They are getting me married off even without my knowledge to one of my relatives, whom I don't even know."
She further said, “These rumours are baseless and false. In fact, I am not in the mood to get married now.”
Earlier, the rumours claimed that she was going to marry her relative in the next two months and she is hurrying to wrap up her work speedily to keep herself a bit free during marriage. Now that, she has declined it, the rumours are going to die down.
Actually, Mangli, alias Satyavathi Rathod, is also a TV presenter and actress. She is known for her traditional Banjara attire and known for crooning Telangana songs and performing at festival events across India.
She gained popularity with her video songs for special events like ‘Bathukamma’, “Bonalu', 'Sankranthi' and 'Sammakka Sarakka Jatara' to carve a niche for herself in the music world. She also showcased her histrionic skills in films like ‘Guvva Gorinka’ and ‘Maestro".
