Actor Karthik Raju, who has tried his hand at commercial films in the past, will soon be seen in an adventure-thriller. The young actor plays a college-goer in a film directed by Saikiran Adivi.
“It’s a campus-based love story in which I play a college-goer. We embark on a trip to Araku and things take an unexpected turn. The drama unfolds amidst chaos as we try to fight our way back to normalcy. Since this is the first film that I have done in this genre, it was a learning experience. Mine is a performance-based role that demanded several expressions,” says Karthik.
The actor, who recently finished shooting for the film, says that they were not always faced with the most favourable of conditions. “We shot in the bitter cold and getting the dialogues and expressions right was tough,” he says.
