John Kokken in Raja The Great

He talks about acting with Ravi Teja and his role.

Actor John Kokken, who was last seen in Janatha Garage and also as the main antagonist in Chuttalabbayi, will play a baddie again in director Anil Ravipudi’s next with Ravi Teja, Raja the Great.

“This is my third film with Ravi Teja, after Don Seenu and Dharuvu. Every time I get a chance to work with him, it’s like coming back to where I began. I was quite surprised that he could recognise me. For someone like him who meets and works with so many people, it feels nice that he could remember me,” says John.

The actor reveals that he has a special bond with his co-actors Bharath Reddy and Ravi Prakash. “Both of them are doctors with a passion for acting. So it was a very interesting time with them and another co-star Chintu. When we were shooting in Darjeeling, we did everything from having lunch to exercising together. They made the film very special for me,” he adds. Talking about his role in the film, John reveals, “It’s a negative role but I like the rugged look I will be donning for it.
