Raashii Khanna seems to be on a roll! While she is already shooting for three projects, in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam respectively, the actress has also bagged another film in Telugu.
Raashii has been cast opposite Naga Chaitanya in Thank You, directed by Vikram Kumar. It is billed as a breezy romantic drama. Raashii will be working with Chaitanya for the first time.
Vikram Kumar says he feels Raashi is apt for the part. “I have known Raashii for a long time; in fact, she played a cameo in one of my earlier films, the Akkineni multi-starrer Manam. I have seen her performances over the years, and when we were discussing who to cast in the lead role, I decided on Raashii,” he explains.
The film also features Avika Gor and Malavika Nair in important roles.
