Kajal Aggarwal film Satyabhama' goes over budget?

Kajal Agarwal is donning a cop role for the first time in her illustrious career

If reliable sources are to be believed, the budget of glam diva Kajal Aggarwal’s maiden female-centric film ‘Satyabhama’ has crossed prefixed figures. “It has truly gone over budget since it crossed Rs 10 crore mark and needs more money to wrap up the film,’ says a source and adds, “Producers are unwilling to compromise as they are designing it as a multilingual film and the budgets are a bound to shoot up,” he adds.

No doubt, Kajal Aggarwal went in for a makeover to don khakis for the first time in her career and all set to showcase her fiery side in a subtle but impactful manner. "They have been shooting extensively at varied locales including Ramoji Film City and varied outskirts of Hyderabad since the investigative cop story demand big span,” he points out.

Earlier, talking to Deccan Chronicle, producer Tikka Mohan had said, “She nicely slipped into the author-backed role and doing a great job. After proving her mettle in lover girl roles, she is doing a performance-oriented film after going in for a complete makeover to enthrall her legion of fans,” he adds.

Justifying the title ‘Satyabhama’, which is inspired by mythological story of Lord Krishna and his wife Satyabhama, he says, "We are going to depict a new-age Satyabhama who is confident, fearless and also daring to take up challenges," he adds.

He further said, there is a Diwali story in Hindu mythology, where Lord Krishna trounced demon king Narakasura with support of his wife Satyabhama. "She also fought the battle along with him and brought peace to the region," he pointed out.
