Actress Rashmika Mandanna, who’s awaiting the release of Chalo and also working on Vijay Devera-konda’s next with director Paras-uram, has been roped in to play the leading lady in actor Ram’s upcoming film with director Nakkina Trinadha Rao.
“The makers wanted to cast an actress who hasn’t worked with Ram earlier and was also a fresh face. Since Rashmika is a newcomer who hasn’t had a release yet in Telugu, they felt it ideal to bring her on board. Talks have been initiated,” shares a source. Pre-production work of the film is on while shooting will commence in February.
