Ram Gopal Varma back on Twitter, attacks PK again
Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma is back on Twitter after a seven month break, wasting no time in taking off on Pawan Kalyan once again. Tweeting that his comeback is inspired by PK’s upcoming film Agnyaathavaasi, the director wrote, “Twitter Agnyaathavaasi loki velina nenu p k ajnaatavaasi tho inspire ayyi malli vachcha (sic).”
RGV was earlier trolled by Pawan Kalyan fans for his comments on the actor and his then disastrous film Sarkaar 3.
His last tweet was in May 2017, after which he stuck to Facebook and Instagram for airing his views.
Interestingly, the director made his Twitter comeback just days before Pawan Kalyan’s film’s release.
The director also took digs at Pawan Kalyan’s political ambitions, comparing him with Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, who recently announced his political entry. “Greatest line said by @superstarrajini is ‘Because of some people Tamilians have lost their prestige and I, Rajini will bring it back’. I wish @PawanKalyan will contest all seats in AP like @superstarrajini doing in TN ..if he doesn't do, PK’s fans will feel he doesn't have guts like Rajinikanth ..it will be an insult to Telugu people’s prestige if our Superstar has lesser guts than the Superstar of Tamil people (sic),” tweeted RGV about the actor.
He added, “If @PawanKalyan doesn’t contest with guts in each and every seat of AP, both his fans and all Telugu people will feel he's just a very ordinary star and not a SUPERSTAR like @superstarrajini of the Tamil people (sic).”
With these kinds of comments, the stage is now surely set for round two of RGV vs Pawan Kalyan fans.
