Now, a Hindi version of Rakshasudu
Looks like yet another South Indian film has caught the attention of Bollywood actors! Actor Bellamkonda Sai’s recent hit Rakshasudu, which is itself a remake of a Tamil film, is now being remade in Hindi.
The psychological thriller that won the appreciation of the audience in Telugu and Tamil is all set to woo the Hindi audience too, with producer Koneru Satyanarayana buying the Hindi remake rights for a whopping price.
With Hindi films Andhadhun, Stree, etc., scoring big at the box-office, Satyanarayana feels that Rakshasudu can also strike a chord with the audience, and apparently wants to cast a prominent actor like Ayushmann Khurrana or Vicky Kaushal in the remake.
“Both the actors were optimistic when they were approached for the remake. The talks are still on and it would be interesting to see who ultimately stars in it,” says a source close to the production house.
