After Rogue, Mannara will be seen as one of the leading ladies in director Teja’s forthcoming untitled film. The actress has shot for a majority of her part, and states that her role will be unique and impress the audience.
“I am fortunate to get opportunities to play roles that are different and unique. I believe this role is a complete contrast to the characters that I have played in my earlier films,” says Mannara, adding, “I play someone with a software background in the film and this will be an integral part of the narrative. My role has shades of emotion, drama and humour too.”
The actress says that sharing screen space with Kajal Aggarwal is always a good experience. “Kajal is a sport and working with her was a great experience. We bonded and had a great time shooting for the film in Thailand. We discussed films and travel.”
Describing director Teja as someone who has great command over his craft, Mannara says, “His approach to filmmaking is unique, and he knows how to get the best from his actors. He gives us the required freedom to understand the character so that we can give it our best. It was a great experience.”
