They say women are women’s worst enemies, but the leading ladies of all the Queen remakes down South are shattering the belief. Interestingly, Tamannaah (Telugu remake), Kajal (Tamil), Manjima Mohan (Malayalam ) and Parul Yadav (Kannada) have come together and created a WhatsApp group, which also includes the four films’ directors and producers.
“Generally, when two actresses are shooting, people talk about cat fights, but these are changing times. So we have all come together to support and promote ourselves. We discuss things openly and ideate matters that will improvise the script,” explains Tamannaah, who is being directed by Neelakanta in Queen’s Telugu remake.
The Baahubali star reveals that there aren’t too many changes in the remake version.
“Ninety percent, we are sticking to the original to retain the essence so that the audience can connect to the script — the life journey of an under-confident young woman,” she adds.
