Arjun Reddy has surely been creating a buzz ever since its teaser was released many months ago. With the film becoming a blockbuster, it garnered attention throughout the country. And one of the most interesting things to have happened post the film’s release is news of Tamil star Vikram’s son, Dhruv, starring in the Tamil remake.

On Sunday, Vikram himself took to Instagram to announce the news, along with a fun video of Dhruv. “Ready to make the leap. #DhruvtobeArjunReddy #E4Entertainment (sic).”

“Vikram has a huge love for Telugu films, considering he started his career here and eventually managed to garner the attention of the audiences  with different films. He keeps following all the new films that release in Telugu and when he and his family recently watched Arjun Reddy, they knew it was worth the start for Dhruv,” shares a source in the know.

While Dhruv’s interest in films has been acknowledged by Vikram himself, the actor never mentioned the capacity in which his son would be working towards it. In fact, Dhruv had made a short film on child abuse, Goodnight Charlie.

In the past, although much was speculated about the star kid’s debut with Dhruv’s photographs being widely shared on the Internet, nothing really materialised, but it looks like things have finally started taking shape.
