After a gap of nearly five decades, Bollywood’s Dream Girl and yesteryears actress Hema Malini is all set to come back to Tollywood. She has previously acted in two mythological Telugu films opposite the late NTR.
In Balakrishna’s 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, she will be playing the role of his mother.
According to a source, on the first day of shoot in Madhya Pradesh, Balayya surprised Hema with a sari made in Lepakshi, from his Hindupur constituency. Hema Malini was thrilled with this gift and got nostalgic about the early days of her career with Balakrishna’s father, late NTR.
In this upcoming film, Shriya Saran plays the role of Balakrishna’s wife and some of the key scenes are being shot in the forts of Madhya Pradesh.
