Even as the digital world continues its speculations about actor Rana Daggubati’s trip to the US and his health, one more has started doing the rounds.
The actor had signed up for a film called Virata Parvam, which is directed by Venu Udugula. The shoot, which was to start long ago, has been put on hold for a while now. But now, a unit source tells us that Rana will join the shoot of this film only in September. “Rana’s going to stay in the US for long, and won’t be able to come to India till September. So he’s requested the director and other unit people to continue shooting the other scenes that don’t need him in it. The team has shot some scenes on the lead actress Sai Pallavi,” says a source close to the unit.
It has, however, been strange that Suresh Babu’s family hasn’t said a thing about Rana’s long US visit. “If they released a statement, it would put an end to the speculations, but until then, people will only keep adding to the list of rumours,” says a film person from the industry.
