Filmmaker Praveen Sattaru has been on a roll. He’s become a name to reckon with after the raging success of his film Garuda Vega and has been getting several offers. But the filmmaker has decided to make a splash by joining the team behind the Hindi version of Baahubali web series (Season 1). Praveen, along with other filmmakers Rajamouli and Deva Katta, will co-direct the series.

The first season of the much-awaited series will comprise nine episodes based on Anand Neelakantan’s book, The Rise of Sivagami. It captures Sivagami’s (played by Ramya Krishnan) character from being a rebellious and vengeful girl to a wise and unequalled queen.

The shooting for the show is likely to begin next month and the pre-production works are on in full swing.
A source informs, “The makers of Baahubali web series believe that Praveen’s directorial finesse will help in elevating the film’s emotional and visual appeal. Thus, they roped him in for the project.”

The web series will be shot in three seasons, with each season having as many as nine episodes.
