Apparently, the actress, who has played several vamp characters in movies alongside featuring in item songs, has used the remuneration she earned from the show to pay the hospital bills of actress Allari Subhashini, who has been suffering from cancer for a while now.
It was only recently that news of Subhashini’s ill-health came to light, along with her financial inability to fund the treatment. While this timely help may not solve her problem totally, Jyothi sure has taken care of things for now.
