Venkatesh's Saindhav' to expose medical mafia

Venkatesh, who showcased his flair for comedy in F2 and F3, turns serious for his next much-awaited film Saindhav. He is playing an anger-driven role with a mission to accomplish.

“Venkatesh hasn’t done such a role in the past. So when young director Sailesh Kolanu pitched this novel storyline to him, he immediately gave his
nod,” says a source, adding, “Venky will be showcasing his fiery side as he exposes the corrupt and money-fleecing medical mafia who are exploiting crores of gullible people.”

They have roped in sensational B-town actor Nawazuddin Siddique to play the baddie and it is being designed as a pan-India film since the theme has ‘universal appeal,’ the source adds.

Even for director Sailesh who has tasted success with investigative cop dramas like Hit 1 and Hit 2, this movie will give him an opportunity to take up a social cause and address a relevant and burning topic in society.

The film is slated for release this December end.
