Filmmaker Triparna Venkat is coming up with a unique film that focuses on how diamonds are made. Titled Peanut Diamond, the film, which stars Abhinav Sardhar and Chandini Tamilarasan, is based on real-life incidents.
“The film explains how diamonds are made in a scientific way,” says Abhinav, adding that it is based on a great deal of research. He says the film can be characterised as Sci-Fi, with elements of romance and action interspersed appropriately.
“We have employed a back-and-forth screenplay approach since it will cover two periods in time — 1989 and the present,” explains the actor. “I play an intelligent guy who thinks ahead of the times. My life takes a new turn when my relationship with a girl is disturbed,” says Abhinav informing us that the shooting for the film is complete.
