Mental health took a toll: Natasha Doshi
Actress Natasha Doshi comments on the second wave of Covid-19

The actress, who got her first jab of vaccine recently, urges everyone to get vaccinated even as she reminds everyone to continue wearing their masks after getting vaccinated.
Last month, her father was tested positive for COVID-19, which Natasha reveals happened after his first jab of vaccine. “I was so scared when I learnt about it. He immediately isolated himself, but we kept monitoring his health constantly,” she explains, adding that luckily, his symptoms were only mild.

“We started focusing on the treatment. But it was difficult for my father as he had to stay alone and was away from all interactions. Considering he is diabetic, he experienced some difficulties, which was disheartening for us to see. I just wanted him to get through the tough phase quickly and was constantly praying for his speedy recovery.”
What added to her pet lover father’s inconvenience while fighting the disease was that he had to stay away from not only his family members but also his pet golden retriever, Noraa.
“After he tested negative, the first thing he did was to hug Noraa tightly because even Noraa wasn’t allowed to go near him during those two weeks,” says Natasha with a smile. Natasha reveals that her mental health took a toll during the second wave’s lockdown.
